Remarks:

1. Due to the adoption of new SSAP's during the current year, the 
presentation of the Profit & Loss account, the supporting notes have been 
revised to comply with the new requirements. Accordingly certain 
comparative amounts have been reclassified to conform with the current 
year.

2. Loss Per Share

The calculation of basic loss per share is based on the net loss from 
ordinary activities attributable to shareholders for the year of 
HK$5,865,000 (1999: HK$282,611,000), and the weighted average of 
556,852,899 (1999: 493,328,970) ordinary shares in issue during the year.

Diluted loss per share for the years ended 31 March 2000 and 1999 has not 
been presented as the effect of the assumed conversion of the share 
options of the Company during the years would be anti-dilutive.
