The Stock Exchange has received a message from South China Holdings 
Limited, South China Brokerage Company Limited & South China Industries 
Limited (the "Companies") which is reproduced as follows:-

"Dealing in the Shares of the Companies on the Stock Exchange was 
suspended with effect from 9:48 a.m. on 25 April 2002 pending the issue of 
the results announcement of the Companies. Upon the publication of the 
annual results announcement on 26 April 2002, the Shares resume trading at 
9:30 a.m. on 26 April 2002."
