At the request of Sino Union Petroleum & Chemical International Limited
(the "Company"), trading in its shares has been suspended with effect
from 9:30 a.m. today (4/1/2007) pending the publication of certain price
sensitive information which may constitute a very substantial acquisition
and a connected transaction of the Company.
