At the direction of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, trading in
the shares of Far East Pharmaceutical Technology Company Limited (the
"Company") has been suspended with effect from 3:56 p.m. today (17/6/2004)
as the authorised representatives of the Company cannot be contacted for
clarification of unusual movement of price and trading volume of the
shares of the Company.
