The calculation of basic earnings per share for the year ended 31st March,
2004 is based on the consolidated profit attributable to shareholders of
approximately HK$57,517,000 (2003: HK$52,260,000) and on the weighted
average number of approximately 419,746,000 shares (2003: 410,581,000
shares) in issue during the year.
The calculation of diluted earnings per share for the year ended 31st
March, 2004 is based on the consolidated profit attributable to
shareholders of approximately HK$57,517,000 (2003: HK$52,260,000) and on
the weighted average number of approximately 422,935,000 shares (2003:
413,718,000 shares) in issue, after adjusting for the potential dilutive
effect in respect of outstanding employee share options.
