(2) Adoption of Statements of Standard Accounting Practice:
In the current year, the company has adopted the Statement of Standard
Accounting Practice No. 1 (Revised) "Presentation of financial statement"
(SSAP 1) issued by the Hong Kong Society of Accountants.
The presentation of the 1999 results has been modified in order to conform
with the requirements of this Standard. Comparative amounts have been
restated in order to achieve a consistent presentation.
