MANSION HOLDING<0547>-Exceptional Price & Turnover Movements

The Stock Exchange has eceived a message from Mansion Holdings Limited
which is reproduced as follows:-

"This Statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong 
Limited.

The Company was informed by Search Pacific Limited, a substantial 
shareholder, that its subsidiary ("Search Pacific Group") disposed of 
33,550,000 shares of the Company, representing approximately 1.07% of the 
existing issued share capital.  The Company was also informed that Mr. Li 
Kwok Lung, Alfred Ronald ("Mr. Li"), a director of the Company, disposed 
of 6,000,000 shares of the Company, representing approximately 0.19% of 
the existing issued share capital.
  
Save for the above dealings by Search Pacific Group and Mr. Li, the 
Company is not aware of any other reasons which resulted in the decrease 
in the price and the increase in the trading volume of the shares of the 
Company on 5th January, 2000.

We also confirm that there are no negotiations or agreements relating to 
intended acquisitions or realisations which are discloseable under 
paragraph 3 of the Listing Agreement, neither is the Board aware of any 
matter discloseable under the general obligation imposed by paragraph 2 of 
the Listing Agreement, which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.
