Results of Audit Tender Process
The Company announces that following a competitive tender process under the supervision of the audit committee of the parent company, Polar Capital Global Healthcare Plc, the Board has decided to retain the services of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the external auditor to both the Company and the Company's parent company.
The tender process has been carried out by the parent company in compliance with the Competition and Markets Authority regulations, applicable EU requirements and Financial Reporting Council guidance.
Following the recommendation of the parent company's audit committee, the Board will propose the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as external auditors for the year ending 30 September 2021 at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held in January 2021. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has been auditor of the Company since launch in 2017 and to the parent company since launch in 2010.
The Board would like to thank the four audit firms that participated in the audit tender process.
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has confirmed its continued independence and willingness to be re-appointed as external auditor to both the Company and the Company's parent company.
