Hamburg, 20th July, 2009 - ZhongDe Waste Technology AG [Ticker ZEF]
announced today that ZhongDe Group ('ZhongDe') has signed an EPC contract
for a municipal waste incineration plant in Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang
Province. The project comprises the construction of a 500 tons/day waste
incineration plant with electricity generation and has a contract value of
approx. EUR 26 million (RMB 251 million). The contractual partner is
Zhaodong Longjie Environmental Protection Co., Ltd..

now capable of not only manufacturing large-scale incinerators but also
building complete sets of incineration plants with electricity generation.
By signing this contract we have successfully started to implement
ZhongDe's key strategy of expanding into the large-scale waste-to-energy
market. Our objective is to further strengthen our market position in the
segment of the municipal waste disposal.'
The Zhaodong project adopts the grate furnace incineration technology. Two
incineration lines with the daily treatment capacity of 250 tons will be
installed. The project treats an average of 500 tons domestic waste per
day. The steam produced from the waste heat boiler will be utilized for the
power generation of a 9MW turbo generator unit.
