Hamburg, June 4th, 2010 - ZhongDe Group [Ticker ZEF] has signed an EPC
contract with Shouguang Fuyuan Waste to Power Co., Ltd on a 600 tons / day
waste-to-energy plant. The project is located in the north of Shouguang
city, Shandong Province. The actual contract value (VAT excluded) is RMB
230.82 million (EUR 27.4 million) and the total contract amounts to RMB
270.1 million (tax included; EUR 32.0 million). This is the fifth largest
engineering, procurement and construction project (EPC project) for
ZhongDe.
The Shouguang project uses the grate furnace technology. Two lines with
daily treatment capacity of 300 tons will be installed. The project treats
an average of 600 tons of domestic waste daily in the first phase with an
annual 8000 hours of equipment utilization. The total waste treatment
volume of the whole plant is 200,000 tons per year. Flue-gas purifying
treatment for the project adopts the techniques 'semi-dry reaction tower +
activated carbon adsorption + bag filter'. The steam produced from the
waste heat boiler will be utilized for the power generation of a 9MW turbo
generator unit. The electric power generated by the unit will be partly
used for production and living of the plant, the remaining power will be
incorporated into the urban power grid. The matching systems include
flue-gas treatment system, slag or flying-ash delivery system, etc. The
annual maximum generating capacity amounts to 66.30×106kW.h.
