The Stock Exchange has received a message from Shenyang Public Utility
Holdings Company Limited (the "Company") which is reproduced as follows:-
"With reference to the interim results announcement form for the year
ended 31/12/2005 submitted to the Exchange on 25/8/2005, the Company would
like to notify that: before the 2005 Interim Result Announcement was
published, some items in the 2005 Interim Result Announcement (Summary)
had been modified as a result of the adjustment to the account as at 30th
June 2005 made by the accountants of the Company as follows(in RMB'000):
Loss from Operations was adjusted from (6,715) to (7,408);
Finance cost was adjusted from (14,825) to (14,132);
Loss after Taxation & MI was adjusted from (21,148) to (19,778);
and Loss after ETD Items was adjusted from (21,148) to (19,778)."
