Explanatory notes on results announcement form
(1) Turnover of last corresponding period was restated due to a change in
definition by excluding gains / losses on sale of investment in securities
(2) The calculation of basic earnings per share is based on the net profit
for the period of US$2,547,761 (for the six months ended June 30, 2003:
US$1,208,663) and 8,905,000 (for the six months ended June 30, 2003:
8,905,000) ordinary shares in issue during the period.
No diluted earnings per share have been presented as the Company has no
dilutive potential ordinary shares outstanding during both periods.
