Remarks:
1. Basis of preparation
The Directors are responsible for the preparation of Legend Group
Limited and its subsidiaries' (the "Group") unaudited quarterly
financials. These unaudited quarterly financials have been prepared in
accordance with Statement of Standard Accounting Practice ("SSAP") No. 25
"Interim Financial Reporting" issued by the Hong Kong Society of
Accountants ("HKSA"). These condensed accounts should be read in
conjunction with the audited accounts for the year ended 31 March 2003.
2. Principal accounting policies
The principal accounting policies and methods of calculations used
in the preparation of these unaudited quarterly financials are consistent
with those used in the annual accounts for the year ended 31 March 2003
except that the Group has changed an accounting policy following its
adoption of SSAP 12 "Income taxes" issued by the HKSA which is effective
for accounting periods commencing on or after 1 January 2003.
3. Earnings per share
The calculation of basic and diluted earnings per share is based on the
