The Stock Exchange has received a message from Dah Sing Banking Group
Limited (the "Company") which is reproduced as follows:-
"With Reference to the Results Announcement Form ("the Form") for the six
months ended 30th June 2005 submitted to the Exchange on 17th August 2005,
the Company would like to inform that:
The item "Interim Dividend per Share" for the current period should be
HK$0.23 with scrip option instead of HK$0.23. This amendment is to match
the Form with the full details on Interim Dividend described in the
Explanatory Notes attached to the Form."
