TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 15 December 2025 it transferred 580 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 243 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,534,277 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,526,013 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
