TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 19 January 2026 it transferred 1,440 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 371 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,524,198 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,536,092 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
