Retirement of Directors

Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Company plc (the "Company") announces that Mr Chris Keljik OBE and Mrs Alexandra Mackesy retired as Directors of the Company and did not seek re-election at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Keljik and Mrs Mackesy for their invaluable contribution to the Company during their 10 years and 9 years of tenure, respectively.
