The Company announces that 215,712,923 New Shares have today been issued and admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange, Euronext Dublin, and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to satisfy the number of valid elections received to participate in the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative.

In compliance with the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, the Company announces that its total issued share capital as at 7 December 2021 comprises 4,419,457,161 ordinary shares of 5 pence each with one voting right per share. There are 650,102 shares held in treasury.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 4,418,807,059. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules and/or the Irish Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007, as amended.
