Sale of The Lawyer

The Board of Centaur is pleased to confirm that, further to the announcement on 11 September 2025 (the "Disposal Announcement"), Centaur has completed the sale of Thelawyer.com Limited, comprising the trade and assets of The Lawyer to Lighthouse Bidco Limited, the parent company of Legal Benchmarking Limited, for an enterprise value of £43 million (the "Transaction"). For the purposes of UKLR 7.3.3, the Company confirms that there has been no material change affecting any matter contained in the Disposal Announcement.

As at the time of this announcement, following receipt of the disposal funds from the Transaction, the Group had net cash ¹ of £69.8m.

Use of Proceeds

It is the Board's intention to use the proceeds from the Transaction, and previously announced disposals, to return capital to shareholders and will consult shareholders on the approach to this before the end of the financial year. The quantum, timing and form of any such return of capital shall be at the discretion of the Board and further details will be announced in due course.
