Pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14(2) of the UKLA Listing Rules, the Company confirms that Sharon Brown, a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of McColl's Retail Group plc, has been appointed a Non-Executive Director of The Baillie Gifford Japan Trust PLC with effect from 3 October 2019. She will be appointed Audit Chair following the AGM in December.
