Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol) announces the interim financial results for the period ended 31/12/2012 as follows:
1.Net profit during the fourth quarter amounted to SAR 15.16 million as compared to SAR 23.31 million for the same period of last year which is reduced by 34.87% and SAR 25.16 million in the previous quarter, which is reduced of 39.65%.
2.Gross profit during the fourth quarter amounted to SAR 49.58 million as compared to SAR 52.99 million for the same period of last year which is reduced by of 6.44%.
3.Total operating profit during the fourth quarter amounted to SAR 25.80 million as compared to SAR 32.88 million for the same period of last year which is decrease of 21.55%.
4.Net profit during 12 months amounted to SAR 91.43 million as compared to SAR 70.21 million for the same period of last year which is an increase 30.22%.
5.Earnings per share in the 12 months amounted to SAR 0.76 as compared to SAR 0.58 for the same period of the last year.
6.Gross profit during 12 months amounted to SAR 233.04 million as compared to SAR 191.81 million for the same period of last year which is an increase of 21.49%.
7.Total operating profit during 12 months amounted to SAR 135.85 million as compared to SAR 110.82 million for the same period of last year which is an increase of 22.59%. (continued)
