Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) Announces the Method of Disbursing the Dividends for the First Half of the Year 2011

Ref SABIC announcement in TADAWUL site dated 16/7/2011 regarding the disbursement of monetary dividends for the first half of the year 2011, we would like to inform our shareholders that the disbursement of the dividends for the first half of the year 2011 shall start today, Saturday 6/9/1432h (6/8/2011g) in the amount of SAR 2 (two) for each share. The entitlement to dividends is for the shareholders who are registered in TADAWUL records at the end of business day Monday 24/08/1432h. (25/7/2011g) as follows:

1.Shareholders who have TADAWUL portfolios linked to Dividends shall be deposited directly to their bank accounts.

2.Shareholders who did not deposit their share certificates in TADAWUL portfolios in a bank account at any national bank: They have to visit any branch of the National Commercial bank guaranties to cash their dividends. They should submit the original certificates and national ID.

3.Shareholders from GCC: They shall be treated exactly as the Saudi shareholders, and all above applies.

SABIC encourages all shareholders to deposit their certificates if any in TADAWUL portfolios. They should contact Security Depository Center (TADAWUL) NCCI Towers king Fahad Road Tel: 218 9090 for depositing their certificates; or send them to P. O. Box 60612, Riyadh 11555
