Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announces the results of its second Extraordinary General Assembly of 2017 (First Meeting)

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announces the results of its Extraordinary General Assembly held at SABIC HQ, Riyadh, on Sunday, October 8, at 8:30 pm, after the quorum was completed. The attendance recorded was 80.59 % of the capital. The results of the vote on the agenda of the Assembly was as follows:

1 - Approval of the necessary amendments to the Companys Articles of Association in accordance with the provisions of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 476 dated 27/7/1438H.
2 - Approval of the candidates for the Board of Directors (government representatives) to complete the current Board session, which began on April 11, 2016.

The General Assembly approved the following members for the Board of Directors (government representatives) to complete the boards current session, which began on April 11, 2016 and will end on April 10, 2019:

1- His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh bin Mansour Al-Jarboo - Chairman - non-executive member
2- His Excellency Mr, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan - Vice Chairman and CEO - executive member
3- His Excellency Dr. Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdullatif Al-Mubarak - non-executive member
4- His Excellency Mr. Calum Mclean - non-executive member
5- His Excellency Eng. Roberto Gualdoni - non-executive member
