Saudi Cable Company (SCC) has won on 31/1/2010 a Contract for supply and laying of Extra High Voltage Cables (380 kV) for a project in North Jeddah for Saudi Electricity Company, valued at about SR 100 million.
This will add to the Companys profitability in the second quarter of the current year to the benefit of the Shareholders.
It may be added that SCC is among the few companies in the world who can produce Extra High Voltage Cables; and, it is the only company in the Middle East and North Africa region that produces these high technology Cables.
This type of Cable is increasingly being used in cities with high population density because it is easily installed and convenient to use, thus opening up new opportunities and markets for the Company that will add to the Companys profitability to the benefit of its Shareholders.
