1.The net loss amounted to SR 88 million as against profit of SR 105 million for the previous year.
2.The loss per share amounted to SR 1.16 as against profit of SR 1.37 for the previous year.
3.The Gross profit amounted to SR 18 million, as against 311 million for the previous year, a decrease of 94%.
4.The Operating loss amounted to SR 158 million, as against profit of SR 125 million for the previous year.
5.The reasons for the net loss were primarily as a result of an imbalance of supply and demand in our markets.
In addition the delay in major petrochemical projects coupled with new entrants in the market place bringing aggressive entry prices to a lower market demand also reduced our margins.
