Saudi Cable Company announces the occurrence of a fire before noon on Monday, 27 Rajab 1435 H corresponding to 26 May 2014, outside the Fiberoptic Cables factory in Jeddah Industrial City, Phase 4. The Company President has explained that the fire has not had any significant effect on the Fiberoptic Cables factory and that nobody was hurt or injured. The losses resulting from the fire shall not affect the Company financial results as the factory is fully insured. Investigations into the causes of the accident are underway and the damage is being assessed an announcement will be made in due course on any further developments.
