ARABIAN CEMENT COMPANY ANNOUNSES INTERIM CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER OF THE YEAR 2011 FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 31/12/2011 AS FOLLOWING:
1- The net profit during the fourth quarter is 76.7 million riyals compared to 10.9 million riyals for the same quarter of previous year which showing an increase of 603.7 %, against posted 104.9 million riyals for the previous quarter which showing a decrease of 26.9 %.
2-The gross profit during the fourth quarter is 106.5 million riyals compared to 44.2 riyals for the corresponding quarter of the previous year, an increase of 141 %.
3-The operating profit during the fourth quarter is 85.7 million riyals compared to 42.8 million riyals of the previous year, an increase of 100.2 %.
4-The net profit during the twelve months is 409.4 million riyals compared to 255.4 million riyals of the previous year, an increase of 60.3 %.
5-Earnings per share for the twelve months is SAR 5.12 compared to SAR 3.19 of the previous year.
6-The gross profit for the twelve months is 505.5 million riyals compared to 318.9 million riyals of the previous year, an increase of 58.5 %.
7-The operation profit for twelve months 449.2 million riyals compared to 288.1 million riyals of the previous year, an increase of 55.9 %.
8-The reason for the increase in the profit of the fourth quarter and the current twelve months of the year 2011 comparing to same period of the previous year is the increase in the production and sales and the decrease in the profit of the fourth quarter of the year 2011 comparing to the previous quarter of the same year is due to the major maintenance.
