| The reason of the increase (decrease) in the sales/ revenues during the current quarter compared to the same quarter of the last year is | During the first quarter of the current year 2025, Arabian Contracting Services Co. achieved positive revenue growth, increasing from SAR 439 million to SAR 544 million, representing a 24% growth compared to the same quarter of the previous year, this positive revenue growth attributed to the expansion of the company’s advertising network and continuing digital transformation initiatives across its operational sectors and organic growth, in addition to enhancing the operational processes of advertising spaces at King Khalid International Airport. |
Precisely, the revenue of the outdoor advertising sector Q1 2025 amounted to SAR 483 million compared to SAR 393 million in the same period last year, reflecting an increase of 23%, as the outdoor advertising revenue represents 89% of the company’s total revenues.
Despite the increase in sales volume and operating profit, Arabian Contracting Services Co recorded a decline in net profit after Zakat and tax, reporting SAR 48 million in the first quarter of 2025, compared to SAR 101 million in the same quarter of the previous year — a decrease of 52%.This decline in net profit is attributed mainly to the interest recorded on the financial liability related to REMAT concession agreement.
