| Announcement Detail | Management at ACC is pleased to announce that the Company has inaugurated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s largest cinema theatre complex at its Mall of Dhahran shopping centre. Formally launched on 15 October 2020, the Mall of Dhahran cineplex includes 18 screens with 2,368 seats, occupying a total of 9,663 square meters of GLA at Mall of Dhahran. The cineplex will be running at 50% capacity until further notice, in compliance with ACC’s comprehensive health and safety measures, and visitors are encouraged to purchase their tickets at one of the complex’s five automated ticketing devices. |
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Faisal Al Jedaie, Chief Executive Officer at ACC, said: “Arabian Centres is delighted to welcome moviegoers to the Kingdom’s largest complex of cinema theatres. ACC strives to provide consumers with the full range of shopping, leisure and entertainment options no matter where they are in Saudi Arabia. This is in line with our belief in a lifestyle-oriented business model that leverages the great progress made under Vision 2030. Mall of Dhahran marks the tenth ACC location which has installed a cineplex. The Company’s centres now host 103 cinema screens nationwide, and we expect to launch nine additional cinemas across our portfolio by 2021, further strengthening ACC’s leading position in the areas of leisure and entertainment.”
