| Announcement Detail | Further to the announcements published on 21-07-1441 [corresponding to 16-03-2020] and the first subsequent announcement published on 27-08-1441 [corresponding to 20-04-2020] related to Bonyan REIT and the temporary closure of its malls, Saudi Fransi Capital hereby wishes to provide a further update as follows: |
1. As per the Royal Decree published on 03-09-1441 [corresponding to 26-04-2020], the Kingdom-wide curfew (except in Makkah) has been hereby partially lifted and the resumption of certain economic activities (including malls) has been allowed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the period from 06-09-1441 [corresponding to 29-04-2020] to 20-09-1441 [corresponding to 13-05-2020]
2. It is to be noted that the partial reopening of the shopping malls is contingent on applying strict new measures that have been put in place in the interests of public health & safety.
3. As a result of the above, Saudi Fransi Capital hereby announces the partial reopening of the shopping malls of Bonyan REIT for the duration of the above-mentioned period and also its firm commitment to abide by all the relevant regulations and measures put in place by the relevant authorities for this period.
The Fund Manager believes it is too early still to assess the impact of this development and hence cannot provide any further information at this time. The Fund Manager will continue to monitor developments and publish any announcements and updates, as and when required.
