ETIHAD ETISALAT (MOBILY) ANNOUNCES INTERIM CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 SEPTEMBER 2011 (9 MONTHS PERIOD) (CONTINUED)

The Chairman indicated that Mobily launched through its subsidiary, Bayanat Al Oula, 4G (TDD-LTE) technology, thus underlining its leadership in broadband services, pointing that Mobily LTE is expected to cover more than 32 cities and governorates, representing 85% of the populated areas in the Kingdom, through a well-planned timetable, taking into account the populations priorities and needs.

Mobily Chairman went on to say that Mobily is currently working on mobile and fixed networks integration to provide highly efficient traffic capacities and to meet the requirements of future applications and Internet users, allowing them to watch TV content on their mobile screen, laptop, tablet or a device in the car without any interruption. He added that the Company is studying partnerships with content providers, especially after the release of Mobily App Store and Mobily Award for Application Developers to support Arabic content.

Alsaghyir added that Mobily has completed its preparations for Hajj season, setting up a number of outlets for sales and promotion of its services at the Kingdoms international airports, land and sea passages and miqat locations, highlighting that the Company established several outlets outside the kingdom for promoting its services in a number of Arab and Muslim countries, such as Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia and Malaysia which should enhance the Company performance.
