Quartal “as usual” – Hoher Auftragseingang Der nach US-GAAP konsolidierte Umsatz und das Quartalsergebnis liegen mit 2.116 TEur bzw. minus 661 TEur im Rahmen der Erwartungen. In der 16-jährigen Firmenhistorie ist der Zeitraum Juni, Juli, August eines jeden Jahres stets als der mit dem niedrigsten Umsatzvolumen – aber vollen Kosten – zu bezeichnen. Auch im 1. Quartal des Geschäftsjahres 2000/01 tätigte der CeoTronics-Konzern Investitionen in das innere Wachstum. Dieses angekündigte Konzept verursacht zunächst Kosten (u. a. Personal), die das Ergebnis belasten. Das CeoTronics mit diesem Konzept auf dem richtigen Weg ist, zeigt die Zunahme der Auftragseingänge. Zum Ende des 1. Quartals (per 30.08.2000) konnte CeoTronics einen ca. 100%igen höheren Auftragsbestand gegenüber Vorjahr verbuchen. Mit dem Ende September erteilten Großauftrag der französischen Polizei und starken Auftragseingängen für fast alle Produktlinien wird CeoTronics in den nächsten Monaten eine signifikante Umsatzerhöhung und Ergebnisverbesserung erzielen. _____________________________________________________ 1st quarter “as usual” – high number of orders Consolidated Sales (according to US-GAAP) of the 1st quarter amount to 2.116 TEuro and the corresponding net income to minus 661 TEuro. Both figures come up to our expectations. In 16 years of our company history, the period June, July, August has always been the one with the lowest sates volume but at full cost. Also, in the first quarter 2000/2001 CeoTronics Group invested in internal growth. This announced concept first causes expenses (e.g. personnel), which influence the result. That CeoTronics follows with this concept the right path shows the increase in order back log. At the end of the first quarter (as of August 30, 2000), CeoTronics was able to increase its orders by approximately 100 per cent in comparison to previous years period. Based on the bulk order of the French police and the high order income for almost all product lines, CeoTronics will achieve a significant raise in sates and will improve on results in the next month.
