Coreo continues to expand its portfolio with the purchase of a commercial property in Mannheim

Frankfurt am Main, Germany – 7 July 2017 – Coreo AG (ISIN: DE000A0B9VV6) has invested EUR 3.3 million in Mannheim by acquiring a commercial property consisting mainly of storage and office buildings as well as some areas for development. The almost 30,000-square-metre property is located around 1.5 kilometres west of Mannheim city centre in the Mühlauhafen district, which is characterised by a mixture of industrial, commercial and residential use.

Given its considerable potential for optimisation, the property offers a great opportunity for a significant increase in value through active asset management and a series of targeted investment measures. The property is located on Güterhallenstraße and consists of several buildings. The rentable surface area is currently over 20,000 square meters, and almost all of it is already rented. However, scope for imagination is primarily provided by the empty parts of the buildings and the unused land. These could be used for a variety of purposes, and would benefit from the unique charm of the harbour location. The area around the property has good access to public transport. Mannheim Handelshafen railway station is within walking distance. The location provides very good infrastructural links to the inner city, regional and national transport networks.
