Ad hoc report by CPU Softwarehouse AG
Augsburg, 28.02.2000
Breakthrough with CPU-C5 in CPU AG operating licensing business
Largest single order in the history of CPU AG
CPU Softwarehouse AG, quoted on the Neuer Markt of the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange, announces the largest single order
in the history of the company.
The contract, for which CPU Softwarehouse AG will develop, adapt
and install a software solution, based on its standard software
CPU-C5 Business Customer and provide training and maintenance
for the same, is for several million DM and includes up to 100
financial institutes.
First of all, our standard software for financial service companies,
CPU-C5 Business Customer, will be adapted to meet the individual
requirements of the client. In conclusion, another product,
CPU-C5 Private Customer, will be further developed for the client.
The agreed services will be completed to contract in the
year 2000 and are also, according to the CPU Board of Directors,
the breakthrough for the licensing business with CPU-C5, the
strategic standard software product, into the financial services branch.
With the branch offices opened in 1999: South (Augsburg), North (Berlin),
Central (Frankfurt), Poland (Warsaw), Czech Republic (Prague),
Hungary (Budapest), Austria (Vienna), the subsidiaries in Switzerland
and the subsidiaries planned for the future, CPU Softwarehouse AG
will convince further national and international public sector financial
service organisations of the benefits of the CPU-C5 standard software,
as part of the Key Account Management strategy, during the year 2000.
