EnviTec Biogas reacts to latest share price development
Company confirms the statements made during the IPO
Lohne, July 26, 2007 – EnviTec Biogas AG (ISIN: DE000A0MVLS8, WKN: A0MVLS),
headquartered in Lohne in the German state of Lower Saxony, today reacted
to the latest development of its share price by confirming that the
statements made during the IPO remain unchanged and that the current
development of the company's business is in line with corporate planning.
Furthermore, EnviTec points out that agricultural enterprises only account
for a relatively low share of total sales, compared to other customers such
as capital investors and professional energy producers. With the
construction of biogas parks such as the ones in Anklam and Penkun, EnviTec
has demonstrated its expertise in implementing major projects.The company
stands by its strategy and the statements made during the IPO, i.e. pushing
ahead with internationalization and increasingly operating its own plants,
especially abroad. Already today, EnviTec is represented through its own
subsidiaries, joint ventures or sales offices in the Netherlands, Italy,
the UK, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Ukraine and India. In Belgium,
Croatia and Romania, the company is already in the process of planning and
constructing biogas plants.
In the first quarter 2007, EnviTec generated revenues of EUR 32.8 million
and EBIT of EUR 5.9 million. The six months’ report will be published on
August 29, 2007.
