This contract stipulates the development and later production of a universal hands-free solution already containing the latest technologies such as GPRS and voice control. Further upgrading is planned in order to develop a universal system on the basis of KomBox II which will be fully integrated into the vehicle management. Says Lutz Pfister, Head of Commercial Mobile Radio Systems of Funkwerk AG: “This development contract is a crucial milestone in the development of Funkwerk as one of the leading suppliers of communication solutions for the automobile industry.” Another important cooperation agreement was concluded with TEMIC Sprachverarbeitung GmbH, the leading supplier of voice processing solutions for the automobile industry.
