The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– General Meeting of Funkwerk AG decides dividend payment Frankfurt, 15th of May 2002 The General Meeting of Funkwerk AG (quoted in the NEMAX 50) has decided on the payment of a dividend of 0.20 Euro per share for the 2001 financial year. Thus despite this only being the first full financial year of the company since its listing on the stock market, shareholders can already look forward to receiving a dividend payment. The General Meeting also approved a general release of the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board for the completed financial year. Further, Mr. Niels Lund Chrestensen was elected onto the Supervisory Board. The authorisation of the company to purchase its own shares up to an interest of 10% in the current capital stock was extended by the shareholders until 14th of November 2003. The Managing Board presented the shareholders and guests with a detailed report of the 2001 business development, together with the prospects for 2002. This was followed by an explanation of the previously disclosed figures for the first quarter, which, with sales of 21.2 million Euro and an EBIT of 0.7 million Euro, were found to exceed the plan. Also the April sales were above plan by just under 20%. The cumulated annual sales for 2002 as at 30 April 2002 are almost 50% above the figure for the previous year, recording 30.3 million Euro. The fact that in excess of 75% of the anticipated sales for 2002 can be attributed to already effected sales or orders on hand, confirmed the intentions of the Managing Board to reaffirm the targeted goal for 2002 with sales amounting to 103 million Euro and an EBIT of 8.8 million Euro.
