PRESS RELEASE Kerstin Schreiber appointed to Executive Board of Funkwerk AG Financial expert to join current sole director Dr.-Ing. Manfred Lerch Kölleda, 31 May 2013 – The Supervisory Board of Funkwerk AG today appointed Kerstin Schreiber (37) to the Executive Board with immediate effect. The financial expert will join the company’s current sole director, Dr.-Ing. Manfred Lerch (54), who has been on the board since 1 November 2012. She will be in charge primarily of financial aspects in the ongoing restructuring process, which aims to set the company on a more stable basis including greater efficiency and improved earning power. Having trained in tax, Kerstin Schreiber subsequently completed a course in business management. She has been with Funkwerk AG for the past 15 years and in this time has been actively involved in process control throughout the group. For many years, she has been an asset to the management particularly at the company’s Kölleda site. Says Alfons Hörmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Funkwerk AG: ‘During her time here at Funkwerk, Kerstin Schreiber has acquired in-depth insight into the company along with the necessary know-how and expertise to join Dr Lerch in steering Funkwerk AG in the right direction for a successful future.’
