The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GROUP Technologies AG surpasses forecast – Preliminary group data for fiscal year 2006 Eisenach, 28.03.2007 – According to the preliminary data for the fiscal year 2006 GROUP Technologies AG has increased its total group sales to 17.5 million and therefore has surpassed its own forecast. During the same period the gross margin for the total group were increased to 16.2 million euros and the EBIT DA in the total group to 3.6 million euros. The operative group results before taxes and interest (EBIT) is 1.5 million euros. The total group result before taxes was 0.9 million as at 31 December 2006. Despite significant extraordinary expenditures due to the merger completed in 2006 the total group has a yearly profit of 0.7 million euros. As at 31 December 2006 depreciations in the amount of 2.1 million euros result mainly from ordinary amortizations of the basic technology purchased in the past. Synergy effects realized in the course of the merger significantly improved the personnel and cost structures. In addition the market position of the company was strengthened as a result of the consolidation. Based on the current high demand for the company’s products and services the company expects a continuation of the positive developments for the current business year. Other conditions such as growth in the CRM market segment and current expanded legal demands on companies to ensure legal security in email communication will have a positive effect on business operations. The publishing of the GROUP Technologies AG yearly report for the fiscal year 2006 is expected for the end of April 2007.
