Bechtle: Temporary 9-months-figures are clearly within the planning Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Bechtle: Temporary 9-months-figures (01.01.-30.09.2001) are clearly within the planning/ increase in profit before taxation (EBT) by more than 170 per cent to 10 million Euro/ increase in sales of more than 40 per cent to 458 million Euro/ yearly-operational-targets-achievement dependent on the further economic development Gaildorf (Bechtle). Corresponding to the temporary figures, the profit before taxation (EBT) increased from 3,7 million Euro to 10 million Euro in the first nine months. This means more than a duplication in comparison with the period of the previous year. The third quarter has contributed more than 5 million Euro to this results and reached a grow up by more than 85 per cent in comparison to the year before (2,7 million Euro). Sales rose more than 40 per cent to 458 million Euro in comparison to the previous year (325,9 million Euro). More than 160 million Euro were achieved in the third quarter (year before: 124,1 million Euro). Without the enterprises aquired in the business years 2000 and 2001, there is an above average strong internal growth of over 26 per cent. Sales of about 356 million Euro were achieved in the segment system integration in comparison to the previous year (261,7 million Euro). This is an increase of more than 36 per cent (internal growth: more than 22 per cent). A strong growth of over 58 per cent (internal growth: 45 per cent) is indicating the eCommerce segment, with sales of about 102 million Euro (year before: 64,2 million Euro). The third quarter is in accordance to the operational-targets of 2001 with sales of 613,6 million Euro and a profit before taxation (EBT) of 16,4 million Euro clearly within the planning. The attainment of this targets is depending on the further economic development. Traditionally, the year-end business of the fourth quarter contributes essential sales (previous year: 33,3 per cent) and results (previous year: 56,2 per cent) to the whole-year-figures. Sales of over 61 million Euro in October give us no reason for a decrease. Merely the current order receipts of over 52 million Euro lies a bit under our expectations.
