From 1st July 2009 Thomas Nietsch has started as Senior Manager for the company. Nietsch has a profound experience in the coal market and will strengthen the HMS Trading Team for its European and Asian business. He started his career in the early 80ies and has worked for longer than two decades in the coal and energy business, in the past e.g. for companies such as Stinnes, Thyssen and Atel. From 2004 to 2007, Nietsch also worked in Indonesia for reputable coal trading houses. HMS Bergbau AG: Berlin-based HMS Bergbau AG is an independent coal trading house specialising in just-in-time deliveries of thermal coal to power plants and other industrial consumers.
