HMS Bergbau AG: Change to the Management Board

CFO, Sebastian Giese, has decided to step down from the Management Board
Berlin, 22 October 2013:
HMS Bergbau AG, an international coal trading group with operative expertise in the extraction, handling and trading of coal, is announcing the early termination of the contract with its CFO, Sebastian Giese. Sebastian Giese asked the Supervisory Board to end his contract prematurely as of 31 December 2013 for personal reasons. The Supervisory Board has yielded to this request with regret and thanks Mr Giese for his work for HMS Bergbau AG. CEO Heinz Schernikau will assume Sebastian Giese’s management responsibilities until a new CFO is named and will therefore serve as the sole member of the Management Board. Sebastian Giese will temporarily be available to the Company in an advisory capacity so as to ensure a smooth transition.
