HMS Bergbau AG expands Management Board

– Bernd Sagemann appointed as CFO as of 14 April 2014

Berlin, 14 April 2014: The Supervisory Board of HMS Bergbau AG, an international coal trading group with operating expertise in mining, handling and transportation of coal, has appointed Bernd Sagemann to the Management Board with effect from 14 April 2014. As a member of the Management Board, Bernd Sagemann is responsible for the company’s finance department. He studied business administration and holds several degrees, amongst others from the Universities of Münster (LL.M.) and St. Gallen (M.B.L.-HSG).

Bernd Sagemann started his career at an international auditing company, where his last position was that of manager/authorised signatory in Corporate Finance. He went on to hold senior management positions in the financial departments at international real estate and project development companies. Prior to joining HMS Bergbau AG, Bernd Sagemann was head of controlling and reporting at the German holding of an international mechanical engineering group.
