MPC Capital publishes 2015 Annual Report and outlook for 2016

Hamburg, March 14, 2016 – The Hamburg asset and investment manager MPC Capital AG (Deutsche Börse Entry Standard, ISIN DE000A1TNWJ4) today publishes its Annual Report for the 2015 financial year. The report now confirms the basic data for the past financial year previously announced in February, with revenue growth of 38% to EUR 47.8 million, earnings before tax of EUR 11.4 million (+85%), consolidated earnings of EUR 7.5 million (+77%) and a doubling of the equity ratio from 21% to 42%.

Against the backdrop of a well-filled project pipeline, the Management Board expects the 2016 financial year to deliver a rise of at least 10% in revenue for the MPC Capital Group compared with 2015. Medium-term, the company aims to increase the assets under management (AUM) by the MPC Capital Group from currently approximately EUR 5.5 billion to as much as EUR 10 billion. This growth is to be achieved through higher-margin new business as part of the new strategic direction of the MPC Capital Group. As a result, in the medium term there is scope for the average AUM margin to improve to more than 1 % of the assets managed by the MPC Capital Group. The Management Board anticipates that this development will harden further in the 2016 financial year and seeks a further improvement in the efficient utilization of the MPC Capital Group’s existing infrastructure from economies of scale.
