Euro (1999: 25,7 Mio. Euro) gesteigert. Wegen des sehr guten Geschäftsverlaufs am Jahresende wurde das bereits auf 48,2 Mio. Euro angehobene Umsatzziel (ursprünglicher Planwert: 36,8 Mio. Euro) nochmals übertroffen. Der am Neuen Markt notierte IT-Lösungsanbieter erreichte durch den Umsatzsprung die höchste Wachstumsrate in der fünfzehnjährigen Unternehmensgeschichte. plenum erzielte im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr ein vorläufiges Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen (EBITDA) von 4,2 Mio. Euro. Das EBITDA übertrifft damit den auf 3,6 Mio. Euro angehobenen Planwert (ursprünglicher Planwert: 1,4 Mio. Euro) und liegt trotz der Wachstums- und Investitionsoffensive deutlich über dem Vorjahreswert (3,9 Mio. Euro). Ausschlaggebend für die überplanmäßige Entwicklung waren das starke organische Wachstum (52%) sowie die erfolgreiche Akquisition und Integration von Unternehmen in den Wachstumsbereichen New Media und New Technologies (43%). März 2001 veröffentlicht. ***************************************************** plenum AG exceeds sales and earnings forecasts for 2000 – Sales growth of nearly 100% on previous year – Earnings 200% and sales 36% up on original forecast According to preliminary figures, Wiesbaden-based plenum AG recorded an almost 100% increase in its consolidated sales to around EUR 50.1 million in financial year 2000 (1999: EUR 25.7 million). The excellent end-of-year business meant that the company exceeded its sales target of EUR 48.2 million – a figure that had already been raised from the original forecast of EUR 36.8 million. This increase in sales allowed the IT solutions provider, which is listed on the Neuer Markt, to record the highest growth rate ever in the company’s fifteen-year history. plenum recorded provisional EBITDA of EUR 4.2 million in financial year 2000. EBITDA exceeds the raised target of EUR 3.6 million (original target EUR 1.4 million) and is up significantly on the previous year (EUR 3.9 million) despite plenum’s growth and investment offensive. The above-target developments were driven primarily by strong organic growth (52%) and the successful acquisition and integration of companies in the high-growth new media and new technologies units (43%).
