The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Ad hoc disclosure plenum AG extends Managing Board to include operating business units Wiesbaden, September 2, 2001 plenum AG, the provider of integrated IT and communications solutions, has expanded its Managing Board as of September 2, 2002. In future, the management of the individual divisions will be represented in the Managing Board directly. Klaus Gröne, managing director of plenum Management Consulting, will assume responsibility for the consulting segment and for human resources. Bernhard Achter, managing director of plenum Systems, takes responsibility for the systems segment and for group sales. Heinz Stoll, managing director of plenum stoll & fischbach Communication, will be responsible for the communication segment and marketing in the future Managing Board. The new members of the Managing Board have many years of management experience and, as plenum Group managers, have successfully shaped the Company’s operations in the past. The Managing Board is headed by its Chairman Hartmut Skubch. The Supervisory Board and the Managing Board intend with this move to further improve cooperation between the three divisions and leverage additional cross- selling potential to be tapped, thus making the Company even more market- oriented in the future. In the process of this reorganization, CFO Thomas Reuther is leaving the Managing Board.
