plenum AG: Withdrawal from implementation business leads to personnel cutback
Wiesbaden, May 30, 2005
At the end of 2004, plenum AG had already made the decision to refocus its
range of services on consulting-intensive themes in the future and to withdraw
from the implementation business. Accordingly, the Company now modifies its
personnel structure in the short term, which will relieve personnel costs.
Therefore, notices of dismissal have been served today at the Wiesbaden
location for operational reasons. The reduction affects 10% of the positions
in the company, as a result, the number of employees will drop to 210 by the
end of the year. A compensation agreement and a social compensation plan have
been arranged with the works council.
Due to this measure, plenum AG expects savings of approximately
Euro 1.4 million that will be fully effective in the next financial year.
