publity acquires technical college for public administration in Duisburg

Leipzig/Duisburg, 16 May 2017 – publity AG (Scale, ISIN DE0006972508) has acquired a property with 5,275 m² in Duisburg, the head office of the technical college for public administration, as 587th property. This state-of-the-art property is located on a plot of 9,400 m² and has been let to this educational institution on a long-term lease.

This contemporary building is located right beside the “S-Bahn” (local train) station in Duisburg-Großenbaum to the south of the city, and can be easily reached via the A524, A3 and A59 motorways. The property also boasts 250 car parking places.

Duisburg has 491,000 inhabitants and is the fifth largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and is located in the West of the Ruhrgebiet region. The city is currently transitioning to become a service location. In addition, well-known companies such as ThyssenKrupp, Franz Haniel, RheinfelsQuellen and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems are located here.

The law firm CMS Hasche Sigle, with a team headed by its Lead Partner Frank Schneider, is responsible for end-to-end legal consulting for the transaction, including project management and legal due diligence.
