Christian Bogers strengthens the SHS Information Systems AG executive board team
Munich, 15/02/2002 – The supervisory board of the SHS Information Systems AG,
one of the leading IT service providers in Europe, has unanimously appointed Mr.
Chris Bogers contractually and retroactively as Finance Director effective 1
February 2002. Mr. Bogers – manager of group finances at the Munich-based IT
consulting firm since January 2001 – subsequently succeeds previous finance
director Adrian Taciulescu in his corporate activity. Mr. Taciulescu, who
established the basis for the company”s growth with a consistent orientation on
profitability, continues in his role as an executive board member, and in the
future will concentrate exclusively on the further integration of the Spanish
subsidiary firm POLAR.
An important phase of the reorganisation and integration process of recent years
has been reached with the new staffing of the finances sector and the formation
of an executive board portfolio for the integration of the Spanish subsidiary
firm. The respective portfolios will be strengthened, and the staffing
prerequisites for the group”s long-term, invested growth are thus set in motion
with this expansion of the executive board.
With Chris Bogers an internationally experienced finance specialist assumes the
central responsibility of finance director. Among other things, the 34 year-old
qualified graduate in business management and M.B.A./C.P.A. also contributes
extensive experience in consolidated group auditing, financial accounting, group
finances and controlling with several international concerns from his more than
ten years of activity in the financial department sector. In addition, he has
sound expertise in international financial accounting (IAS) stemming from his
employment with an international auditing company. Before joining the SHS AG he
was responsible as vice president at one of the leading firms in the
fortification and demolition technology segment in Liechtenstein for
consolidated group auditing, and also for projects in the international finances
field as well as lastly the development of corporate-wide IT strategy. Chris
Bogers sees his foremost responsibilities in the enhancement of profit
performance with simultaneous growth of the group.
For Dr. Stefan Möller, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of SHS
Information Systems AG, “this decision is one of the central steps in a series
of measures which have already been implemented in order to consistently prepare
the entire company – internally as well as externally – for the continuously
increasing requirements of the market”. The SHS AG”s claim – to become the
number one IT service provider in Europe – is thus underscored as a result of
these actions.
According to Dr. Möller, “with these far-reaching changes clients as well as
shareholders and the SHS AG themselves will profit”.
With the new staffing of the financial department the executive board of the SHS
Information Systems AG consists of the following members:
Dr. Stefan Möller is Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Richard Heinrich
pursues the function of operative chairman, Mr. Adrian Taciulescu manages the
Spanish subsidiary firm and Chris Bogers assumes the financial department.
