GUARDEAN delivers efficiency gains of up to 30% during application processing
and decision-making
Munich, June 9, 2005 – Munich-based SHS Informationssysteme AG today announced
that Toyota Kreditbank GmbH has selected its GUARDEAN risk management
software to automate decision-making processes in connection with the granting
of loans. Before Toyota Kreditbank GmbH, BMW Financial Services had already
opted for the SHS solution. Using GUARDEAN will enable Toyota to achieve
efficiency gains of up to 30% in the processing of loan applications. New and
used vehicle customers will receive individualized financing, leasing and
insurance offers from the automotive bank even faster than before.
Individualized customer service requires flexible strategies for making fast
decisions on loan applications. This is no different in the automotive market.
The GUARDEAN software solution from SHS will enable Toyota to simulate a
variety of loan decision scenarios in order to identify and choose the best
possible strategy. GUARDEAN also allows for the collection and provision of
credit history, payment, contract and other customer data. As a result, Toyota
Kreditbank will be able to respond even faster to the specific needs of its
customers.
“SHS knows what is important for today’s risk and project managers at
automotive banks: making loan decisions within seconds, reducing costs,
improving service, relieving personnel from performing routine tasks, and
being flexible. SHS prevailed not only because of its superior technology. It
also demonstrated more expertise than any of its competitors,” says Kajo
Esser, general manager IT, Toyota Kreditbank. The fact that GUARDEAN can also
be used in other European countries played a major role in the decision as
well.
“Our customer base now includes two of the most successful automotive brands.
This is a testament to the high quality and reliability of our GUARDEAN
solution,” says Dirk Roesing, chief executive officer of SHS
Informationssysteme AG.
